You have just received your status of refugee, beneficiary of subsidiary protection or stateless person: welcome to the Refugee’s Guide. This Guide takes into account the modification of the rights caused by the Asylum-Immigration law of September 10, 2018 and its decrees of application. We hope that we will be able to help you to know your rights and assist you with the practical steps you need to take: residence permit, housing, work, healthcare, family unity… Here is the computer version and for tablets of the Guide in 5 languages (French, English, Arabic, Russian and Persian), and the version for smartphones in each language, together with a user manual.
This Refugee’s Guide was devised and created together with refugees, who have also shared their stories and their visions of life in France (in the 4 languages) in the form of a comic book which you can read on this website. Some of the stories are sensitive and personal, others are more amusing…maybe you will find a bit of your own story in them.
